Hello again!

First of all, Happy belated Birthday to our old-bird, TAN CHEW LING! =D

So yes, yesterday’s attendance was disastrous.
This time, I guess, its not about the stress or whatever. It’s the attitude in all of you that you want to come for training or not. But why, I wondered. Training is not that tough. It is still quite manageable and Mr. Bok is not very strict/harsh... Okay, maybe at times? But he's doing his part and to push us. You girls should know that, we all are not very talented players... SO, we've to work hard to achieve the desired results!

Mr. Bok, Ms. Chew, and the four seniors were very disappointed yesterday. And yes, FOUR SENIORS attended training only…

Please girls, if you do not want to come just because of Mr. Bok’s scolding. Quit Netball, and you don't have to join any of the CCAs... Tell me which CCA you join, be it the instructor or the coach, would not scold you when you made mistakes? I’d be so pleased if there is such things in this world/reality in fact -.-

Also, you girls should know that Mr. Koh fights a lot to get Mr. Bok here to train us. What should we do most now, is to work hard and show him that we proved his actions right! Come’on girls, attend training, and put in your 101%! (please)

Hey Girls!

We’re back on the run after the 3 weeks break due to H1N1. As Mr. Bok said, all the schools had just resumed training this week… so, I guess it would be the best time to really catch up with the better and stronger teams. Well, we might be slow a little in learning and progressing, but if we’re willing to work hard miracles do happen!

And if you would to complain of school workloads, please… the sec 3s have even more work than you do. They have like tests almost thrice a week, and homework everyday! (To the C’girls) Yes, you may be thinking that the B’girls attendances suck… so what can you do even more are to encourage your seniors to go for training! And what makes them most wanting to skip training is the load of stress they had. Therefore, I hope that if you girls would to see one of those seniors whom always skip training, talk to them, and give a shot in her arm. Maybe what they would need most are friends/team members’ comfort to inspire them.

Also, the climate these few days are a little unstable and blazing. Thus, please drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrate and fit at all times! All the best to you girls for all trainings! =D

firstly,wanna thanks all the girls for being apart of MIGHTY BALLERS esp to the 3 juniors as they are daring to join this event with us as i know there are some seniors like charlene and elly who are damm fierce yet they still willing to join us!! so 3 cheers to you girls!

secondly, i know that everyone had done their best esp for our last game and i really feel so touched to see everyone encouraging each other,teaching us those skill bok taught the juniors and they share it with us. even though bok techniques are not that useful for us to apply however, i still glad that you all volunteer and take the extra step to teach us and this is good!

lastly, i still hope to have more of such competition to come along so that we still can have this chance to gather together and to have this chemistry between one another which make us MIGHTY BALLERS the champion!!!! :DDD

a little note for coaches as i didn't give Celeste the thank you cards..
the thing that i hated the most is finally here...
that is, not to have
siewhong, amelia, mabel, charlene, elly and chewling
as our coach anymore..
they're going to be replace with a new coach
which is coming in november.. a guy or a girl???..
but seniors,
no matter what, IWe shall never forget you
seniors, for what you've done for us..
you keep telling us to put in our best effort and never admit failure..
we may not be the best sports team but at least, as long as
we had done our best and would keep on impoving our passes and in court game

a really long journey between you girls and us for about ONE YEAR PLUS,

frankly speaking, sometimes it was YOU GIRLS that put up a smile on my face which made my day a better one during trg.

hopefully there are still chances for us to be on the same old court to have some games,

The last before our exams T,T

Okay girls, I know it’s the time you all have been waiting for. Yes, an update! Haha, our blog is very pathetically rotting like shit you know. Anyway, I’ll be writing about yesterday’s training. It was the last training before our exams. And the very last training which we had Siewhong and Amelia to coach us, was on the Wednesday before the term break. And as majority knows, our new coach will be coming in November. In other words, no more slacking, and get prepare for the worst. If you think that Amelia and Siewhong’s trainings are tough, I think the new coach’s trainings are gna be twice of that, or maybe even more. I don’t know.

Anyway, I was here to write about yesterday, so yeah… It was kind of a self-training session cos as I said, no more Amelia, Charlene, Chewling, Elly, or Siewhong ): But surprisingly, without them, our training could be as successful too! Like normally, when we have to do 20 non-drop passes to complete a drill or something, there’ll be like a lot of restarts and stuff. And yesterday, the sec ones grabbed every single ball and the seniors made least mistakes. But in the second drill, the momentum or w/e is it called, didn’t went on. Cos the most common and the littlest mistake was made, butter fingers = didn’t grab = drop balls. Due to that, we had to do 5 push-ups for every dropped balls, and 5 would be added if we drop again. The worst was 15 we had, I think.

And oh, I didn’t mention about the warm up run. We had to run 10 times, up and down the stairs. For those who got overtaken by Kaiwen and Grace would have to run 2 suicides. Most of the sec ones ran, not the sec threes or the sec twos (: Did stretching, ball handlings and followed by basic passes. Not forgetting the second last, the game :D

Enjoyment with a little disappointments though.

By the way, just a little discretion needed here. Okay, firstly, try not to be so not confidence in every activities, be it drills or game. Cos your low confidence would most likely bring emotions to training and then a little attitude might be given. Be self-confidence like Kaiwen, be motivating like Grace, and have the determination like Sandy. Not only all these, most of all, you need mentality, cos it’s everything. If you’re one like the so not confidence one or the giving attitude one or whatever, it’s better to change now than to change when the new coach’s here. And remember, change for the better, not for the worst -.-

Okay, back to topic, conditionings after which. Yes, we’ve got our new netball shirt. It’s RED! UGH. Anyway, tomorrow’s Coach’s Day. So yeah, Happy Advanced Coach Day to our ex coaches, and so on. Ms Coral Lim, Ms Evelyn Teoh, Amelia, Charlene, Chewling, Elly, and Siewhong. Thanks for the coaching, and everything you’ve did for us, etc.

By the way, for Celeste and Joan, all the best for your N levels.
For the rest of the girls, wish you all the best in luck for your EOY.

OKAY! I SHALL UPDATE THIS BLOG TOO.
Firstly, i shall apologise for yesterday's training because we couldn't use the court. There was speech day rehearsal so we had to give up the use of the court. BUT THAT'S OKAY, BECAUSE WE ARE GOOD FRIENDS WITH THE UNIFORM GROUPS. HAHAHAHA. GIVE GOOD IMPRESSION GIRLS! WE ARE FRIENDLY+UNDERSTANDING+WE ARE ONE BIG FAMILY. HAHAHA.
Instead, we played a few games before we moved to the hall.
I must say that i was pretty disappointed when you girls took so long to "warm up". But it started to get better as we proceed to different games and you girls started to communicate more and work together as a team. Yes, some of you might not feel good working outside of your clique, but we are a team, and we must learn to work with each other even if you might not be very close with the other girls. so next time, STOP COMPLAINING, AND LEARN TO WORK WITH ONE ANOTHER.
But i'm really proud that i have seen many of you girls improved. It might not be a very drastic improvement but it is still an improvement and we can see it! It might not just be being physically fit but also see you all grow into a better person.
Like Kadijah (i hope i got her name right) and Jia Li for example, you girls are starting to open up more which is GOOD! Communication is very important okay! so starting talking more! Dont worry, sylvia and Mabel were equally as quiet when they were in sec one too! HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Although Grace and Zhiyun only joined us later in the year, it was really heartwarming to see them working hard so as to be on par with the rest of the term. Zhiyun for example, i can see her really trying and listening to the advice from the seniors. and Look! she is equally as good as the rest even when she join us later. Keep up that learning attitude!
Grace and ericia, i love to watch them do their basic passes. Even if it is just basic passes, i see them putting in their effort and throwing strong passes. They push each other and play with each other in the sense that they try to throw hard passes so that their partner might not be able to catch it! Thats what i want to see in every sec 1s too. Giving their 101% in everything you do! Even if it is just the basics, do it well and build up your foundation.
Cheng ning for example, i see her trying hard in everything. And her attitude towards training, TWO THUMBS UP!
Sophia and Farahana, you two have been amazing as well. The way you control your passes and offer yourself in court, its fanatastic! KEEP IT UP! and although sophia has the smallest build among the rest of you, she is like a chilli padi okay! who says being short is bad!
And the rest of the girls, seeing you all do your warm up, its amazing. Its a drastic improvement and i can tell every single one of you that your stamina are improving. So stop complaining about the stairs!Its doing you good!
Next the SENIORS! i must say that you girls have been a great help! i can see you girls STOP COMPLAINING and setting a good example for your juniors.
Sylvia, you are WEIRD. HAAHAHA. but i can really see the improvement you made from the past few sessions. I feel so proud for you when i see you play on court! Finally you are calling for balls, finally you are talking more. and just a little bit of encouragement from you-know-who, you totally become another person. One more time i see you zoning out during training, i will ask you-know-who to sit at the corridor and watch you train. HAHAHAHAHA.
zhaomin and mabel, i can see you girls are trying hard to set a good example for the juniors. and Mabel, stop complaining! at least sylvia only complain about not having the court to train! but keep it up and be a good guidance to the juniors!
belinda, you another one. Stop being so lazy! you have so much more to give and i can see that! start putting in to good use! i kan hao ni okay! dont let me down. WAHAHAHAHA.
zhenying,ashikin and audrey. good job in helping the sec 1s. I can see your improvement on court and your dillgence. keep it up!
okay, this is getting really long, i'll keep the next post for the seniors. so dont worry, you are not forgotten!
and girls remember, losing is one thing, but the worst is not even trying. We might not be given that much opportunity, we might not be given extra advantages, but as long as we are a team, we have the friendship and unity that we can take for a lifetime. So what if our achievements might not be as much as the others. As long as we work hard together, the times we share are definitely much more valuable then anything else.
So, in the meantime, Lets all Work Hard and prove them wrong!!

i decided to give up editing the past (back) design, got pek cek trying to edit the lady to look better yet ended up she became so FAT. argh. hahaa. so yah, here is the new design :

please take note that the shirt itself will be in RED, not my idea. so the font will be either black or white, kindly ignore the purple.

next, the front design, celeste's hardwork!
supposingly the positioning was right at the bottom, then MS TAN, suggested to move it higher ( she said copy nike's design. lol. ) so YOU shall vote and decide now ok!

The 1st match Celeste, Grace, and Mabel with Joan, Kaiwen, and I had was…
Err, oh Celeste’s group won.
They won the 2nd match too.
But FORTUNATELY, my group which is Joan and Kaiwen’s, managed to win in the 3rd match :D :D :D
Then somehow, both teams got a draw for the 4th match.
And in the recent training, which was on 2nd July, Wednesday, my group got defeated again D:

flashback those moments when you girls got so tgt with us trying so hard to let everyone know we existed, we can be as outstanding as others too, and we want ms tan so badly to be our teacher in-charge. that was the time i felt so happy, in a way that i told amelia ' finally, the girls managed to bond tgt. ' isn't it great if everything maintain it that way?

coaches, seniors , arguements, who's right, who's wrong, all these doesn't matter. i bet none of you here bear grudges right. lets just put everything that happened aside and start anew. lets put an end to all those SORRY. every trg is new start, a new beginning for ALL OF US. come on, giving up is stupid, you are not just someone, but a PUNGGOL NETBALLER.

since no one wanna voice out their unhappiness with us(the seniors)
let me voice out about my unhappiness then.
no point hiding it. it just wanna make me talk behind the person back which i dont like.
for the past few training, i dont see any co-operation in any of the sec 2(except ashikin and audrey).
for instance, about the 1L of water bottle.
elly had kindly give you all another chance to get the water bottle by the nxt training but in the end, what happened?!
you girls still bring the mineral water bottle, what the meaning of this?
you think we will not do anything? you wanna dare us?
then in the end give you all punishment,i literally saw belinda throwing her water bottle on the floor. so what is this again? are you the princess in the netball team? ya so what if you get a new water bottle alrdy, but is it 1L??
please go reflect on yourself for throwing a temper that day. it just make me feel so inrrited by seeing how you behave that day. cos i thought you were one of the girl who will lead the team but instead you prove me so wrong.
sylvia soo, i thought you will also be one of the girls who will listen to the coaches and the seniors but it seem like you are begaining to change. i dont know what happened to you. i cant see you giving your 100 percent attention during training alrdy. i dont see you wanting and willing to learn again. i dont know whether are you being influence by other girls in your grp but pls pls, i know you can do it. pls continue to put in your effort and maybe can even talk some sense into your group of friends in netball, alright? cos i know you are one nice and sweet girl actually. and i do know you like netball v much.
alethea, i had not seen you coming to training for such a long time, i dont know what happened. but when you are back from training, you started to piss me off alrdy.
i remember very clearly, i asked you to throw a good proper passes since the sec 1 girl(sophia) can do it and she is so much smaller size compare to you yet she can throw better than you, moreover you are senior alrdy. so i kindly, note girls, i use a kindly tone to ask her to do the passes properly. so what her reply??
she start to give a super duper cool attitude saying, i am not sophia, that why i cant throw a better passes. i know you are not sophia but do you know what i trying to mean, i just want you to be focus and throw a much harder passes cos i know you can. but you tell me you are not sophia. what is this again?! obviously you wanna argue with me for the sake of nothing or to maybe show sophia that you are the typical kind of attitude girl who dare to talk back to the seniors. huh?
you dont know how turn off you can be and you spoilt my day let me tell you.
but that not all of you. after that monday training(24/3) you was not there. i dont know the reason. then suddenly you appear on wed(26/3) training and once again, spoilt the day. you start to argue with siewhong. hey come on, FYI if you dont remember who she is, let me tell you again, SHE IS YOUR COACH cum SENIOR!
pls get this into your head. you can go ard asking seniors from netball, who will dare to argue with the coach? if you found someone, let me know. you'r the 1st girl in punggol netball to dare to argue with the coaches and not only that, you still give a I-AM-A-QUEEN-FACE. this action just make me feel like you are a big loser and wanna embrassed yourself in front of the girls by arguing with the coach.
ok, btw alethea i read your blog, i dont wanna hide from you. ya saw you keep on scolding and complaining about the training,coaches,everything. if got so much unhappiness in you, say it all out at here too. so the girls can hudge for theirselves whether is it we are too harsh on you or bias or rather is you are the only 1 who need to go and reflect on your behaviour for the past few training. && yes, i cant stand it when you say that you go training because your friends go, hey come on girl, dont like netball, dont come. pls, i hate ppl who come for the sake of friend and not purely because wanting to learn new thing.
i hope you see this. cos you really got to change your attitude.
mabel and zhao min, not much to comment. but maybe pls give your 100 percent during training and get the 1L of water bottle by nxt training.
ashikin, i also got see your blog. i feel much better when you comment about how sorry you feel toward the coaches. i grateful that you know how much effort the coaches had put in for you girls. sweet girl, continue coming for training alright.=D

Hey girls, i just want to share with you a song Ms Lim once shared with us.

Hello girls! good game today! I saw alot of girls going for the ball and never gave up till the very last min. Thats the spirit girls!
But but, training before the game wasnt really good. There wasn't 100% focus, 100% participation, 100% co-operation. Girls i hope you understand that when there is a large group of girls, its hard to get everyone's attention. So lets all co-operate together okay! Afterall, its good that we have so many girls too right!
I know some of you are very much affected regarding the change of teacher i/c. Girls, its not the time to be dishearten okay. We made it this far BY OURSELVES and i am sure we can continue to work towards our goals BY OURSELVES. Lets take this as an obstacle, testing us mentally. Our main goal now is north zone. Things that is within our control, we take control. things that are out of our control is no use harping over it. So lets all work together and prove everyone wrong okay!
Fight this for youself, fight this for the team, fight this for your cca. We will only fail if we give up on ourselves okay! In the meantime, lets all stand strong, stay united and root for the B girls this friday!!

Hello girls!
Carnival's over. Good effort. You can commit all those mistakes during carnival but not north zone okay! Like what ms tan said, "Glad that we didn't make it through second round, lunch was the best!" Yes girls, Throughout the whole Saturday, LUNCH WAS THE BEST. I finally see how committed and united you girls are. Compared to the time when we just came in, you girls have grew so much as a team! The talk we had, the gossips we shared and everything about your boyfriends or what so ever, its good! Especially the sec 2s, im proud of you girls! Really heartwarming to see you girls bond together, helping one another, covering someone because of some idiots ( girls in kfc should get what i mean. HAHAHA.). All this really shows you all as a team! Most importantly, i saw how important the games were to you all. when you girls wanted more trainings, it really showed how much you all grew mentally. And girls, let me tell you this, with the attitude and drive you girls showed me on sat, you girls have already won the war. in the netball team, the real war is not just north zone, but the process. And girls, im proud of you all!
Remember what i said okay, We are not just a CCA, we are one big family! Most important, we are not just girls who are committed to netball, we are girls with good character and girls who people can depend on. WE ARE MORE THAN JUST GIRLS WHO ARE YA YA ABOUT THEIR CCA OKAY!

Hello girls!!
Today's training was really good! I saw the attendances,I saw improvement, I saw efforts put in, I saw teamspirit, I saw girls staying focus, I saw girls trying, I saw girls being friendly, I saw many things from you all today. WELL DONE GIRLS!
I know you all can do it. As long as you girls stick as a team. Yes, training's getting tougher and competition's round the corner. and carnival's just this Saturday.
I want to see more of the commitment, the drive, the efforts in the other trainings still to come okay!!
Next training is on Wednesday. Please remember your 1L bottles and towels okay. Remember, its all about commitment and putting in effort okay. No efforts, no gain. How much efforts you put in now will show ultimately okay!

elly,peiwen and me went for the game on thursday (6 sept)

first game: 6.00pm - Northern Ireland vs Sri Lanka (55 - 50)

it was a nice match and Sri Lanka has a shooter who height is 206cm.

OMG!!

we have a chance to take picture with her.

see!!! she is really soooooooo tall.!!

next is the long awaited match which is the match betweenTrinidad & Tobago and Singapore and to our amazement Singapore WIN!! as Trinidad & Tobago is rankes 10th in the world.

they seriously have improved a lot and they played so well.!!

Singapore WIN. last quarter was really well played.

really it so nice to watch them play..=)

those countries are canada, northern ireland, singapore, sri lanka& trinidad&tobago.

bbq night

yesterday(12 dec) we had a bbq gathering to give the pioneer batch of punggol netball girls(our seniors) a fare-well party.everything is like not going right for us.first, the weather was not good in the as it rain very heavily which in the end we started quite late.we start ard 6 plus.only amelia and charlene were puctual.the others were late.we started without them first.it was fun to bbq w/o any ppl except us were there.but as it became later,we reliase our light post has not light yet.we had no choice but to use the handphone torches to shine on the food to see whether is is cooked a not.so patheic.so jas,amanda,elly went to call the in charge over there to inform them and they came only ard 10 pm.so slow as by that time we almost have finish bbq-ing the food.in the mean while mabel and sh came whereas peiwen and meixuan came only at 11 plus which most of us had went home.it a pity that most of us did not see them.anyway,hope you senior will like the gift that we made for you guys althought it is not that neatly done as it last minute work as it diffcult to get the other to come and do the things.through those gift we wanna show you all our appreciation for being a part of our team.and for setting up a good role model for us to follow.also to thank you for teaching us and guiding us in anyway.hoep that after reading the testimonial we wrote for you all,you all will feel how good you all are and not be offended in anyway esp for the nick we all have for you.we just meant to be cheeky.hahahaok.that all.remember to arrange game for us to play and get together and do remember to stay in contat with one another. ;)

hey girls,ya sorry for not updating for so long.
anyway,today our training resume and only 7 ppl attend.
disappointment.
it was a short training.we start at 3pm and end abt 4.30pm due
to the attendence as we cant do much with 7 ppl.
anyway,miss teoh say that these few training she will play more game with us
but so few ppl turn up so we cant play any interesting games.
ppl pls do turn up tmr pls.phelia,erna,anna and those sec 2s.
only celeste turn up today.
ok!next good news is we will be having camp during the nov holiday.
and it after the O level so the seniors maybe if you'r interested pls do join us=)
but one thing is that it will be a combined cca camp.
we will be combining with the basketballers and volleyballers if not wrong.
it 3 days 2 nights also.

today 29 august,we went for a carnival.
we win 3 matches out of the 5.
so it mean we lose 2 match.
but overall,we really enjoy playing every single game.
everyone try to put in our best and was glad that the second game onward we have fighting spirit.that what ms teoh want us to have.
the last game, amanda was standing at the semi-circle and was abt to throw a lodge pass
to jasmine but do you all know what happen.the ball went into the net! haha.
the umpires were stunned haha.they do not know what to blow for and in the end we just stand and laughing haha.then the umpire has blow it as off side.haha.the ball went off side.
okay.that abt all.take care peeps.btw tmr 20 aug ms teoh,ms lim and her team will be playing.

do you all miss us(amanda,elly,jasmine,bernice,cassandra,chew ling)??
hahas.so glad everyone have come back safely w/o any pains only brought back all the mosquito bites.
ok.i just roughly share some of the thing that i did at the camp and i try to say some interesting stories if possible.1st day,everyone got spilt into different group.
then on the 1st day we did rock climbing,2nd day learn to kayak.3rd day went for sea expedition for 14km in abt 8 hrs.everyone had sunburn!!cassandra was the worst.she is all red!!haha
4th day went hiking for another 8 hrs.sun was sorching hot.5th day was all ready to go back.we did not did jetty jump and nightwalk but elly group did.i also dunno why only her group can do.
okay that abt the camp.
share some interesting stories my instructer has share with me.but you all hv to tell me what the moral of the stories can.okay.
here it goes:
1st story:
there was a number of turtles.young and old turtles.sunddenly one day,the old turtle has decided to go for a pinic at the shore.so they set off.they travelled for one day,two day,thress day,four day,five day until they reached the shore.they then stared to get ready for the pinic.sunddenly they unpacked the thing and they found out that they did not bring the butter and jam with them.so everyone was deciding who to go back to take.then the eldest and the other agree that the youngest turtle should go as the youngest has more energy.
the youngest turtle then go and he order the others turtles not to steart w/o him.so he went off.the other turtle waited for one day,two day,thress day,four day,five day,six day until the oldest turtle cant take it and he suggest to eat what they hv.just as they were starting to eat,the yougest turtles jump out of the brushes
and say 'aha.caught you,i know you all will start w/o me'
okay that the 1st story do you all the moral of the story.?
2nd story:
one day a bird was flying around the sky.he flew mile and miles.suddenly the weather has change and that the bird has been froze by the weather.just then a cow went over and it happen to shit in which the bird hv fall on it but in the end the bird had defroze as the shit is hot.but the bird suddenly found out that he had stuck in the shit.just then another eagle flew by and peck the bird out but the eagle did not realease him but instead it ate the bird up.so what the moral of the story behind it.?
3rd story:
2 best friend have went to walk in the jungle and they walk and walked until they got lost.one of the friend keep pestered and bother the other friend asking how to get out until the oter friend was irrated by him and he beat him up.the men then write onto the sand 'my best friend has beat me up.'then they continue their journey to find the way out until they come out and found a sea.the were overjoy and excited and w/o thinking much,they both jump in the sea and bath and drink.suddenly the same men that got beat suddenly got drown too.the other friend then went forward to help him.when he got save,he went and curve it on the stone'my best friend had saed me today'.do you all know why.?
